Perfect weather for this weekend's Winter Fun Days

Great, mostly free family fun awaits

PYMATUNING STATE PARK — The 37th Annual Winter Fun Days, presented by the Pymatuning Trail Blazers Snowmobile Club, take place on Saturday and Sunday at Shelter No. 4 at the Old Jamestown Beach in Pymatuning State Park in Jamestown.

Saturday’s events will be from 8 a.m. to 6 p.m., and Sunday’s are from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. Throughout the days, there will be a vintage snowmobile display, a Northstar Powersports Polaris display, a chainsaw carver displaying his creativity in wood, a used snowmobile corral and a slow-paced view of Pymatuning State Park via a horse-drawn hay ride.

Weather permitting, there will be a guided snowmobile trail ride at 2 p.m., and there also will be snowmobile games and free snowmobile rides. Kids may also bring a sled and enjoy the kids’ sled riding hill.

The Winter Fun Days will be held regardless of the weather. All snowmobile events take place only with a minimum of four inches on snow.

Breakfast will be available to purchase from 8 to 11 a.m. and lunch/dinner will be available from 11 a.m. till closing at Shelter No. 4. The Jamestown Lion’s Club will also be sponsoring a Hole-in-One contest from 1 to 4 p.m.
