MEADVILLE —
The United Way of Western Crawford County kicks off its fund-raising campaign Thursday with a party and prize auction at the Iroquois Club at Conneaut Lake.
The program is from 6 to 8 p.m. at the Iroquois Club off Route 18 on the east side of Conneaut Lake, with the auction starting at 7.
There are complimentary hors d’oeuvres and a cash bar. Cost is $20 per person.
Live auction items include:
-Four-bedroom private home with pool and hot tub for one week in a Naples, Fla., gated golf community;
-A vacation home that sleeps 34, with private beach access for one week in Westerly, R.I.;
-Dinner for eight at the home of Allegheny College President Jim Mullen and his wife, Mari, who are cochairs of this year’s local United Way campaign;
-Pittsburgh Pirates jersey autographed by Andrew McCutchen;
-Overnight stay and brunch at Nemacolin Woodlands;
-Steelers tickets;
-Catered tailgate party for 12 from Blue Canoe Brewery of Titusville;
-Deejay services for four hours;
-Luxury box for 25 with $250 food credit at an Erie Explosion game.
