SPECIAL FEATURE: Spillway hits big time on NPR

On December 30, 2008, National Public Radio's feature "All Things Considered" showcased a story and a song specifically written about the Pymatuning Spillway and the tradition of feeding bread to the ducks, geese, gulls and carp. The song, "Bread in the Water" by Tim Fite is available for download by following the link above.

You can also hear the entire segment that aired Tuesday with interviews of local residents, sound bites from local Television news coverage and sounds from the spillway itself. Several NPR listener's also voiced their opinions on the story in the letter segment of the NPR site.
