Teenagers from age 13-16 from the four county Northwest Pennsylvania region attend a week long summer camp run by the Pennsylvania State Police. This years camp is being held at Allegheny College. The cadets learn about law enforcement and discipline through a variety of classroom exercises and hands on training. They also get a chance to test their skills in events such as an obstacle course. They learn about polygraph testing, how to secure a house while looking for 'bad guys' who may be hiding or running away, they learn traffic stop procedures and how a taser works. The camp is a chance for teens to develop skills, knowledge and understanding of themselves and the law enforcement community. Meadville Tribune photos by Richard Sayer
