LA LUZ, N.M. — Barbara Mary Robinson, 80, passed away Tuesday, April 17, 2012, in La Luz, N.M.

She was born April 24, 1931, in Ilford, Essex, England, to Francis Joseph and Iris Powell Walsh. She was preceded in death by her husband, Harold Robinson, her future husband from their first meeting.

Survivors include her brothers, Brian Walsh (Diane) and Bill Walsh; brother-in-law, Frank (Pat) Robinson; her sons, Paul (Barbara), Michael, Brett and Scott (Vanessa) Robinson; daughters-in-law; 10 grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; nieces and nephews; countless friends; and her loving dog, Shannon.

Barbara has been a glorious mother, wife, sister, aunt, nanna, mentor, teacher and friend. We celebrate her life and are comforted in the knowledge that she is in perfect peace in the eternal Kingdom of our Lord.

Barbara has been a shining example of “walking in the light of Christ.” Her light shone brightly through every step of her nearly 81 years of journey on this earth. Barbara touched a countless number of lives in so many beautiful ways. Her loving, generous spirit created so many happy moments, which we will never forget.

We will continue to recount and recall the times, in all of our lives, in which this story-telling woman has shared joy-filled cheer with each and everyone she touched.
