He later worked for the former Golden Dawn, Valesky’s and other grocery stores in the area. From stockboy to produce manager as well as manager, Steve worked in every capacity during his career. Steve was of the Catholic faith and had developed a strong devotion to the Lady of Guatalupe.
His enthusiasm for the Cleveland Browns and the Cleveland Indians was second only to his passion for golf. Steve enjoyed golfing daily, weather permitting, for many years and played in a retirement league at Whispering Pines.
The most important joy in Steve’s life was his family and extended family including children, grandchildren, siblings and all of his nieces and nephews.
