LANCASTER, Calif. —
Dora Mae Carrier, born Nov. 16, 1929, in Pennsylvania, passed away Tuesday, Oct. 23, 2012, in Lancaster, Calif.
Dora is survived by her husband, Walter Carlyle Carrier; two sons, Gerald and his wife, Barbara Carrier, and Steven and his wife, Terry Carrier; three daughters, Carla and her husband, David Chandler, Janice and her husband, Michael Wells, and Sharon and her husband, Ken Sylvester. She is also survived by her 17 grandchildren, 20 great-grandchildren and numerous family and friends.
In 1949, Dora graduated from Meadville City Hospital as a registered nurse. In her 35 years of residency in the Antelope Valley, she was a 20-year member of the AV Allied Arts Association in Lancaster, Calif.
