David L. Iseman

LINESVILLE — David L. Iseman, 51, of Linesville, passed away unexpectedly on Tuesday, March 19, 2013, at Meadville Medical Center.

Born June 6, 1961, in Kittanning, he was a son of Eugene and Beatrice Ebert Iseman. He married Dixie McDowell on Nov. 22, 1989.

David worked as a machinist for Viking Tool and Gage in Conneaut Lake. Previously he worked for Aerospace Parker-Hannifin in Andover, Ohio, for 18 years.

He was of the Methodist faith. David loved doing karaoke, going hunting and traveling to his camp in Tionesta. He enjoyed making cornhole games and was a master at making no-bake cookies. He cherished his two dogs, Daisy and Chrissy. David will be greatly missed by all who knew him.    

He is survived his loving wife of 23 years, Dixie Iseman; three children, Tina Stanhope and her husband, Jason, of Linesville, Cindy Graham and her husband, Dean, of Linesville, and Robert Simpson Jr. and his wife, Erica, of Harmonsburg; nine grandchildren, Matthew, Steven, Bridgett, Jessica, Jasmine, Brooke, Paige, Hannah and Brennen; three great-grandchildren, Gavin, Bradon and Hayden; nine brothers, Sam Iseman, Ed Iseman and his wife, Tammy, Butch Iseman and his wife, Kathy, Harold (Bub) Iseman and his wife, Judy, Ron Iseman and his wife, Karen, Cecil Iseman, Barry Iseman, Paul Iseman and Roger Iseman; and several nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents; two brothers, Carl and Gary; and a sister, Carol.

Calling hours are today from 7 to 9 p.m. and Thursday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. at Royal-Coleman Funeral Home, 6028 U.S. Highway 6, Linesville. Additional calling hours will be Friday from 10 to 11 a.m.

A funeral service will be on Friday at 11 a.m. at the funeral home with Pastor Ron Welker of Penn Line Church of Christ officiating.

Burial will be in Starr Cemetery, Tionesta.

Memorial contributions may be made to the family in care of the funeral home.
