GENEVA — Lois Ellen McCombs, 80, of Geneva, died Tuesday, June 12, 2012, at her home surrounded by her family.

Born March 23, 1932, at McGee Woman’s Hospital, Pittsburgh, she was a daughter of Herbert Saturley and Margaret Lowe.

She was a certified nurse’s aide and retired as a home health aide with Active Aging of Crawford County.

She enjoyed spending time with her family, gardening, puzzles and crosswords, and her cats and dogs.

Survivors include two daughters, Shirley Mercier of Conneaut Lake and Kathleen McCombs of Meadville; two sons, John McCombs Jr. of San Antonio, Texas, and James McCombs of Utah; grandchildren, James Mercier; John Mercier, Jeremy Mercier and fiancée, Tamara, Cassandra Martin, Sherri Piercy, Teresa McCombs, Matthew McCombs and Joseph Weaver; a sister, Patricia Robenalt of Elyria, Ohio; and a brother, Fred Saturley of Pittsburgh.

She was preceded in death by her mother and father; a sister, Betty Mall; and two brothers, Herbert Saturley Jr. and Kenneth Saturley.

Calling hours are today from 5 to 7 p.m. at Dickson Funeral Home and Crematory, 130 N. Second St., Conneaut Lake.

The funeral will be Friday at 2 p.m. at the funeral home, with calling from noon until the service. Pastor Dave Brumagin, of Trinity United Methodist Church, Conneaut Lake, will officiate.

Interment will be in Geneva Cemetery.
