MEADVILLE —
Elizabeth June DeWalt Procner, 96, formerly of Hollis Road, Meadville, and a resident of Wesbury Hillside Home, Meadville, died there Sunday, June 10, 2012.
She was born March 31, 1916, in Apollo, a daughter of Charles DeWalt and Esther Clever DeWalt Grugle. She married Adolph Procner on Feb. 14, 1941, and he preceded her in death Sept. 26, 1997.
She was a 1935 graduate of Sandy Lake High School and was a homemaker.
She was formerly active in a literary club and the Monday music club, both in Sandy Lake, enjoyed traveling, music, and was an excellent cook and avid reader.
She was of the Methodist faith.
Survivors include four children, Cynthia Frye and her husband, Keith, J. Stephen Procner, Daniel A. Procner, and Nancy Jo Setta and her husband, Michael, all of Meadville; seven grandchildren, Scott Stephens, Amy DeLeon, Jonathan Frye, Lynn and Brian Setta, Laurel Procner and Cole Perrine; 10 great-grandchildren, Alyssa and Nicholas DeLeon, Tanner and Libby Frye, Raven and Olivia Vanderveen, Lili and Bryce Setta, Abby Kuhn, and Logan Yeager; and nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by a sister, Helen Boatwright.
There are no calling hours.
A memorial service will be Saturday at 1 p.m. at Robert W. Waid Funeral Home, 581 Chestnut St., Meadville, with the Rev. Dave Brumagin officiating.
Interment will be in Oak Hill Cemetery, Sandy Lake Township, Mercer County.
Memorials may be made to Wesbury Hillside Home, 535 Williamson Road, or Hospice of Crawford County, 464 Pine St., both of Meadville, Pa. 16335.
