Geraldine Emily Mullen McMillin

SPRINGBORO — SPRINGBORO — Geraldine Emily Mullen McMillin, 80, of Greene Road, Springboro, passed away Sunday June 10, 2012, at her residence.

She was born Dec. 1, 1931, in Conneaut, Ohio, a daughter of the late Edward Mullen and Mary Thiel Mullen. She married Rolland H. McMillin and he preceded her in death Nov. 11, 2004.

She was employed as a bus driver for Wallace Hyde for more than 45 years.

She attended Living Hope Church of Conneautville and was a  member of the Amicus Club of Springboro. She enjoyed her dog, King, and sewing. She, along with all her family, every year  supports the American Cancer Society Relay For Life in honor of her late daughter, Marge Conklin.

Survivors include her children, Joanne Bechtel and husband Terry of Conneautville, Lois Clark and husband Ron of Dayton, Ohio, Rita Askey and husband Doug of Conneautville, Deb Smith and husband Dr. Doug of Saegertown, Rolland McMillin and wife Joyce of Conneautville; son-in-law Jim Conklin of Saegertown; grandchildren Dr. Trevor (Brenda) Bechtel, Trace (Jennifer) Bechtel, Airman 1st Class Joshua (Kara) Bechtel, James Conklin, Jennifer Conklin, Nicole (Scott) Yamada, Erin Clark, Michael Clark, Dr. Stacy Askey, Brett Askey, Zack Smith, Derek Smith, Brooke McMillin and Kacie McMillin; great-grandchildren Jose, Aleysha, Carlos, Johanna and Lillian; brothers Al Mullen of Massachusetts, Ray Mullen of California and Jim Mullen of Conneaut; sisters Mary Boggs of Conneaut and Dorothy DiCanio of New Jersey; and sister-in-law Mildred Thayer of Linesville.

She was preceded in death by her husband; daughter Marge Conklin; brothers Ed, Don and Bill; and sisters Frances and Alice.

Friends may call on Thursday from 5 to 8 p.m. and Friday From 10 to 11 a.m. at White-Cool Funeral Home, 1405 Main St., Conneautville.

The funeral will be Friday at 11 a.m. at the funeral home, with the Rev. Loren Little officiating.

Interment will be in Spring Cemetery.

    He was born in Oil City, May 1, 1959, a son of Raymond J. and Marian E. Nuhfer Conaway. He married Laura S. Burchard, June 26, 1982, and she survives.
