PARMA, Ohio —
Helen L. Cleveland Boyle, 91, passed away Sunday, Jan. 6, 2013, at Pleasant Lake Villa in Parma, Ohio. She was born Dec. 4, 1921, at Conneaut Lake, where she had lived before moving to Mayfield Village, Ohio, 64 years ago.
Helen graduated from the University of Pittsburgh with a Registered Nurse degree. She worked at many medical facilities in Cleveland, Ohio, for more than 50 years, including Huron Hospital, Hillcrest Hospital and Judson Park Nursing Home. She retired in 1996.
Helen was a member of the Mayfield Village Historical Society.
Survivors are her children, Faye Consilio of Parma, Ohio, and Janice Stevens of North Olmsted, Ohio; grandchildren, Chad Hankins and Kelly Stevens; and many nieces, nephews and cousins.
Helen was preceded in death by her parents, J. Irving and Hazel Adsit Cleveland; brothers, Dr. Edwin, Jack and Walter Cleveland; and former husband, William C. Boyle.
Private funeral services will be held at a later date at Conneaut Lake. Inurnment will be in Adsit Cemetery in Pennsylvania.
In lieu of flowers, the family would appreciate contributions in memory of Helen to the Adsit Cemetery Association, c/o Kip Adsit, 540 Greenville Road, Greenville, Pa. 16125; or the Mayfield Village Historical Society, 606 SOM Center Road, Mayfield Village, Ohio 44143.
