GREENVILLE —
Delbert D. (Chip) Woodward Jr., 54, of Germansville, died Sunday, Jan. 20, 2013, in his home.
He was the husband of Deborah A. Wesoly-Woodward, who survives. The couple celebrated their 21st wedding anniversary last May 24.
Born in Meadville on Dec. 20, 1958, Chip was a son of the late Delbert D. Sr. and Zelah (Rasey) Woodward.
He was employed as the billing coordinator at Miller Keystone Blood Center, Bethlehem, for the past two years. Prior to that, he was the director of financial aid at American Public University.
Chip was a former Cub Scout Leader, and participated in playing, refereeing and coaching volleyball.
Survivors, in addition to his wife, Deborah, include a son, Colin K. Woodward at home; three siblings, Thomas Woodward of New Mexico, Karen Taylor of Conneautville and Ruth Brown of Harmonsburg; and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held on Saturday at 10:30 a.m. in Heintzelman Funeral Home Inc., 4906 Route 309, Schnecksville, with the Rev. Kevin E. Fruchtl officiating. Family and friends may pay their respects on Saturday from 8:30 to 10:30 a.m. in the funeral home.
Interment will be private.
