CAMBRIDGE SPRINGS —
Norma Jane Ruhl Caldwell of Cambridge Springs died on Monday, Jan. 21, 2013, at Meadville Medical Center.
She was born on March 14, 1926, in Venango, daughter of the late George and Erma Ruhl.
Norma enjoyed to crotchet, knit and tending to her garden. She was an avid animal lover, and liked to feed and watch birds. For years, Norma would make sure she stopped to visit with her mother on her way home from work. She truly adored spending time with her.
Norma was a Class of 1944 graduate of Cambridge Springs High School.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Clifford O. Caldwell; two brothers, Lindsey and Lloyd Ruhl; and two sisters, Evalyn Flint and Lois Terrill.
Norma is lovingly survived by many nieces, nephews; great-nieces and nephews; and great-great-nieces and nephews.
Friends may call at Glunt Funeral Home, 210 Erie St., Edinboro, on Thursday from 6 to 8 p.m. A time of viewing will be held there on Friday from 10:30 a.m. until the time of the service at 11.
Burial will be at Venango Cemetery.
Memorials may be made to the Crawford County Humane Society, 11012 Kennedy Hill Road, Meadville, Pa. 16335.
