Clayton Eugene Weaver, 63, of Conneautville, passed away Thursday, Feb. 7, 2013, at Meadville Medical Center.
He was born June 26, 1949, in Meadville, to the late Clifford Weaver and LuLu Jane Shields Weaver. He worked for nearly 30 years at the Ohio Rubber plant in Conneautville. He married Lillian Loper June 1, 1974. She survives. He was a U.S. Army veteran.
Clayton was a member of the Pioneer Steam Engine Association. He was involved with the Conneaut Valley FFA for many years and enjoyed anything to do with farming, machinery, animals and tractors. He was also quite interested in saw mills. He loved to can everything and anything. He especially loved his grandchildren.
He is survived by four children, Rodney and his fiancée, Sherry, of Conneautville, John of Harmonsburg, Andrew of Saegertown, and Darlene and her husband, Donald Harper, of Conneautville; two brothers, Clint and his wife, Ruth, of Girard, and Clifton (Skip) and his wife, Lucy, of New Mexico; a sister, Carolyn Clark of New Mexico; four grandchildren, Nicholas, David, Emily and Zackery Harper of Conneautville; and several nieces and nephews.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by two brothers-in-law, Michael and Quincy.
Friends may call Sunday from 2 to 4 p.m. at White-Cool Funeral Home, 1405 Main St., Conneautville. The Rev. Phil Torre will be officiating a service directly following calling hours at 4 p.m.
Interment will be private in Rundletown Cemetery.
