ERIE — Mitzi L. McEver, 52, of 429 State St., Apt. 8, Erie, passed away Monday, June 18, 2012, at Presque Isle Rehab & Nursing, Erie.

Mitzi was born in Meadville on April 18, 1960, a daughter of the late Allen MacBlain and Arlene Reichel MacBlain.

Over the years Mitzi had been employed by C&J Industries, Ideal Tool and the former Generate Co. in 5th Ward. She was a 1978 graduate of Saegertown High School.

Mitzi enjoyed riding motorcycles. She will be missed by her many different friends and her extended family who loved her very much.

Mitzi is survived by two sons, Brandon Hopkins and Adam Hopkins, both of Meadville; two grandchildren, Kayden Hopkins, and Ariana Hopkins and her significant other, Stephen Simmons, of Erie.

Mitzi was preceded in death by her parents.

Family and Friends are invited to call today from 5 to 7 p.m. at Stephen P. Mizner Funeral Home & Cremation Services Inc., 404 Chestnut St., Meadville, where funeral services will be conducted at 7 p.m.
