BLANCHARD, Okla. —
Sharon Faye Cartwright, 66, of Blanchard, Okla., died Tuesday, May 8, 2012, at her home.
She was born in Meadville on Aug. 10, 1945, a daughter of Wilfred Charles Yeager and Elsie Viola (Young) Yeager.
Sharon graduated in 1963 from Meadville Area Senior High School. She married Douglas Cartwright on Nov. 21, 1964, in Meadville. They moved from Delaware to Tuttle, Okla., where they lived for 27 years before moving to Blanchard.

Sharon loved being a mother and grandmother. She was a mother to Tamera and Doug but she adopted many in the course of her life. She lived her life to be a friend and helper to everyone she met. Her giving nature made her “MomMom” to many from the moment they met. She was a gracious, loving, compassionate woman whose only wish was to make others happy. Her joyful smile and loving nature will be missed by many.
Sharon is survived by a daughter, Tamera Cartwright Brockhaus, of Blanchard, Okla.; a son, Douglas Paul Cartwright of Oklahoma City; a brother, Fred Yeager of Meadville; two grandchildren, Jordan Elizabeth Brockhaus of New York City and Zachary Douglas Brockhaus of Oklahoma City; and several nieces and nephews.
