Richard B. Fuller

MEADVILLE — Richard B. Fuller, 69, of Meadville, passed away at 8:10 p.m. Sunday, March 14, 2010, at Wesbury United Methodist Retirement Community, Meadville.

He was born in Corning, N.Y., on June 1, 1940, to Richard Fuller and Cornelia Burgett Fuller (later Quay).

He was a U.S. Army veteran (sergeant) and was stationed in Gaslingen, Germany.

He graduated from Cleveland State University and completed all course work toward a master’s of business administration degree at the University of Akron. He worked as an executive for several companies in the United States, Kuwait and Saudi Arabia, including Arieb Enterprises and Kremenco.

He was a past member of the American Institute of Industrial Engineers, American Society of Metals and American Welding Society. He enjoyed listening to music, reading, gardening, his cats and collecting antiques. He served as ward mission leader and Elders Quorum president at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints, Meadville, and was devoted to his church family.

Survivors include his daughter, Candace Fuller Schissel (Karl) of St. Paul, Minn.; his son, Richard Belding Fuller Koch (Lauren) of Matthews, N.C.; and his granddaughter, Kayla Koch. He is also survived by a cousin, Kathryn Callahan (Hugh Foshee) of Louisville, Ky.

A memorial service is tentatively scheduled for April 17 at 11 a.m. at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints, 597 Park Ave., Meadville.

Interment with full military honors will take place in Venango Cemetery.
