MEADVILLE —
Delores M. Easton, 91, of 455 Chestnut St., Meadville, formerly of 211 Lincoln Ave., Meadville, passed away Thursday, July 5, 2012, at Crawford County Care Center, Saegertown.
Delores was born in Meadville on May 9, 1921, a daughter of the late Bryan Patrick and Eva Belle VanSlyke Bulger. In 1940 Delores married Joseph W. Easton; he preceded her in death on Oct. 18, 1983.
She was a member of St. Brigid Roman Catholic Church, Meadville.
Prior to her marriage, Delores had been employed by the former American Viscose of Meadville.
She attended St. Brigid Catholic School.
Delores was a devoted wife and mother who enjoyed being a full-time homemaker and raising her family.
Delores is survived by three children, Pat J. Easton and his wife, Carol Sue, of James Creek, Michael B. Easton and his wife, Carol, of Meadville, and Toni Gillingham of Meadville; several grandchildren; several great-grandchildren; a great-great-grandchild; two brothers, Richard Bulger of St. Petersburg, Fla., and Robert Bulger of Arizona; her companion of several years, Jack Jones of Meadville; and several nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Joseph, of 43 years.
At the family’s request, there will be no visitation.
Services will be private and held at the convenience of the family.
Interment will take place in St. Brigid Cemetery, West Mead Township.
Arrangements are under the direction of Stephen P. Mizner Funeral Home & Cremation Services Inc., 404 Chestnut St., Meadville.
