HADLEY —
Michael L. Beggs, of Georgetown Road, Hadley (Deer Creek Township), died unexpectedly of natural causes on Wednesday, Dec. 19, 2012, at 1:47 p.m. in the Emergency Department of UPMC-Horizon, Greenville Campus. He was 42.
He was born Sept. 24, 1970, a son of Roger W. and Jeanette Harvey Beggs Sr.
He was a 1989 graduate of Commodore Perry High School and had attended the Mercer County Vo-Tech School where he studied auto body repair.
Michael enjoyed motorcycle riding, listening to music and playing his electric guitar. He possessed a deep love for his family and admired his two daughters. He enjoyed hunting and simply just taking time out of his day to sit on the back porch taking in the sights and sounds of nature.
He is survived by his two daughters, Megan M. Beggs of Greenville, and Morgan M. Beggs and her husband, Wesley, of McMinnville, Tenn.; his mother, Jeanette Beggs of Hadley; a brother, Roger W. Beggs Jr. of Hadley; a niece; and many aunts, uncles and cousins.
He was preceded in death by his father; his paternal grandparents, Clarence and Dorothy Beggs; his maternal grandparents, Roy and Hazel Harvey; and two uncles, Thomas and Donald Beggs.
Friends may call at Robert L. Snyder Funeral Home and Crematory Inc., 3223 Perry Highway, Sheakleyville, on Saturday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. and are invited to share memories and condolences with the family online at rlsfh.com.
The funeral service will be held Sunday at 2 p.m. at the funeral home, with Pastor Greg Giles of Cornerstone Church of God, Meadville, officiating.
Cremation in the funeral home crematory will follow.
