COCHRANTON —
Susan J. Nicholas, 60, of Cochranton, passed away Friday, March 8, 2013, at Meadville Medical Center.
She was born March 2, 1953, in Oil City, a daughter of Robert Nicholas and Elizabeth Youngs Nicholas.
She attended the River of Life Church in Cochranton and enjoyed doing crafts.
She is survived by her father, Robert Nicholas of Girard; her significant other, Dale Stahlman of Meadville; two daughters, Velma Hughes and her husband, Matt, of Albany, N.Y., and Beth Stahlman of Conneaut Lake; a son, Dale Stahlman II of Cochranton; three stepchildren, Shona Taylor and her husband, Todd, of Cochranton, Mickey Stahlman and his wife, Mandee, of Meadville, and Bobbie Stahlman of Meadville; 12 grandchildren, Tia Rose Belden, Ty Stahlman, Karalynn Hughes, Keagan Giliberto, Nahtanah Giliberto, Luke Taylor, Mackenzie Stahlman, Caitlin Stahlman, Shyla Stahlman, Tiffany McCormick, Whitney McCormick and Daisy McCormick; a sister, Karen Ramsey and her husband, William, of Albion; two brothers, Robert Nicholas Jr. and his wife, Blanche, of Albion, and Wesley Nicholas and his wife, Nancy; her best friend, Tammy Stahlman of Meadville; and many nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her mother, Elizabeth Nicholas.
A memorial service will be held Sunday at 3 p.m. at the River of Life Church, Adams Street, Cochranton, officiated by the Rev. Dale Linton of the church.
Interment will be in Beaver Center Cemetery, beside her mother.
