CONNEAUTVILLE — Daniel Merle Bush, 69, of Conneautville, passed away Saturday March 9, 2013, at Meadville Medical Center.

He was born Feb. 13, 1944, to the late Arthur McCormick Bush and Luella Mae Smith. He married Gail Tate Bush.

He has had numerous jobs during his working years including working as a guard at Channellock Inc.

Dan enjoyed fishing and spending time with his family.

In addition to his wife of 11 years, he is survived by six children, Carrie Dross and friend, Burt Porter, of Meadville, Danella Schroeder and friend, David Jackson, of Conneaut Lake, Darlene Shirey and friend, Mike Cullen, of Fairview, Timothy Shirey and friend, Melissa Michael, of Conneaut, Ohio, Grace Schwartz and husband, Henry, of Conneaut, Ohio, and Corey Tate of Kittanning; a sister, Bertha Fox of Punxsutawney; a brother, Ken Smith and his wife, Janet, of Atlantic; grandchildren, Aaron Stallsmith, Cassandra and Julianna Dross, Lauren and Mallory Schroeder, Rebecca and Jacob Crawford, Brandon Morris, Isabella Lawton, and Catherine and Tiffancy Schwartz.

He was preceded in death by his parents; four brothers, Harrison, James, Jess and Arthur Bush; and two sisters, Tina McDonald and Maggie Paden.

Services are private under the direction of White-Cool Funeral Home. Memorial contributions can be made in his name to White-Cool Funeral Home, 1405 Main St., Conneautville, Pa. 16406.
