MEADVILLE —
James A. Nowicki, age 60, formerly of Conneaut Lake, died Saturday, Dec. 22, 2012, at Wesbury United Methodist Community.
He was born on Dec. 13, 1952, in Buffalo, N.Y., the son of the late Edmund C. and Loretta E. Green Nowicki. He married Lois Jane Isenberg on June 13, 1987. She preceded him in death on June 10, 2003.
He was a 1970 graduate of West Seneca Central High School. He was of the Catholic faith.
Jim enjoyed fishing.
Surviving are two sisters, Melanie Ann Nowicki of Buffalo, and Laura Louise Little and her husband, Robert, of West Seneca, N.Y.; and four brothers, Edmund V. Nowicki and his wife, Susan, of Buffalo, Lawrence A. Nowicki and his wife, Pamela, of Colorado, Arthur F. Nowicki and his wife, Donna, of Hamburg, N.Y., and Alvin P. Nowicki and his wife, Kathy, of Long Island, N.Y. Also surviving are several nieces and nephews.
In addition to his parents and his wife, James was preceded in death by a brother, Nelson H. Nowicki.
Calling hours will be from 3 to 7 p.m. on Thursday, with a funeral following at 7 p.m., at Dickson Funeral Home and Crematory, 130 N. Second St., Conneaut Lake.
The Rev. Father Stephen Anderson, pastor of Our Lady Queen of the Americas Catholic Church of Conneaut Lake, will officiate.
Interment will be in Dart Cemetery.
