Pamela J. Artman Fait

GUYS MILLS — Pamela J. Artman Fait of Guys Mills passed away peacefully at home on Monday, Dec. 31, 2012, after a courageous three-year battle with pancreatic cancer.

She was a graduate of Commodore Perry School. She worked at the Lampliter Restaurant and was head cook for 14 years at the Venango Valley Inn. She was well known for her sticky bun pastries at the inn. She assisted her husband managing their business, the Flying Feather Shooting Preserve.

Pam enjoyed NASCAR races, hunting, camping, knitting and garage sales. She was an excellent cook and baker.

She was a member of Sagertown American Legion Post 207.

In addition to her loving husband, Jodie, she is survived by her parents, Robert and Nancy Artman of Townville, and Phyllis and John Bailey of Hadley; daughter Brandi Breese of Erie; half sister Heather (Richard) Tatalovic of Guys Mills; two brothers, Robert Artman and Douglas (Donna) Artman of Hadley; her loyal friend Kim Loreno of Venango; and nieces and nephews.

The family wishes to thank Dr. Brown, Yolanda G. Barco Oncology Institute and Hospice of Crawford County for the compassionate care given to Pam. Also, to our dear friends for all their support.

Calling hours are Wednesday from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. at Hatheway-Tedesco Funeral Home and Crematory, 614 Baldwin St., Meadville.

The funeral and committal service will be held Thursday at 11 a.m. at the funeral home, with the Rev. Marshall Lillie officiating.

Burial will take place in Blooming Valley Cemetery.
