COCHRANTON — Nancy Ann Mook, 68, of Adamsville Road, Cochranton, Greenwood Township, passed away unexpectedly on Saturday, Jan. 5, 2013, at 11:11 p.m. at Meadville Medical Center, Liberty Street, following a brief illness.

Nancy was born in Cleveland, Ohio, on May 30, 1944, a daughter of the late Albert R. and Nancy A. (Dean) Burr. On Jan. 30, 1965, she married James E. Mook, who survives.

Nancy had been employed at the former Montgomery Wards, Meadville, in the cash office for 17 years. She was of the Catholic faith and had attended St. Agatha Roman Catholic Church.

In her younger years Nancy enjoyed bowling. Nancy’s family was very important to her and she enjoyed the moments she was able to share with her children and grandchildren, and she adored her two cats, Tiggra and Angel.

In addition to her husband of 47 year, she is survived by a son, Chris Mook and his wife, Barb, of Cochranton; a daughter, Kandi Ketcham and her husband, James, of Meadville; and two grandchildren, Nicole Ashleigh Mook and Christopher James (C.J.) Mook.

She was preceded in death by her parents.

In accordance with Nancy’s wishes, no services will be held. Cremation has been selected as disposition.

Arrangements are with Robert L. Snyder Funeral Home and Crematory Inc., 3323 Perry Highway, Sheakleyville.
