SAEGERTOWN — Ruth B. Watson, 87, a resident of Crawford County Care Center in Saegertown for the past several years, and formerly of Centerville, died Monday morning, Feb. 18, 2013, at UPMC Hamot in Erie.

Mrs. Watson was born June 9, 1925, at St. Louis, a daughter of the late Freeman and Irene McKinnon Lybarger.

She was a graduate of Meadville High School, class of 1943. She had been employed for 20 years at Teledyne Corp. in Edinboro until her retirement in 1988.

Mrs. Watson was a member of the Apostolic Lighthouse Church in Meadville. She enjoyed doing crafts and crocheting.

She is survived by two sons, the Rev. Robert R. Watson and wife, Ernestine, of Centerville, and the Rev. Larry A. Watson and wife, Dorothy, formerly of Titusville; 10 grandchildren; numerous great-grandchildren; a brother, James Lybarger of Texas; and numerous nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a daughter, Linda Bishop; two brothers, Robert and Lee Lybarger; and a sister, Ruby Shelton.

Friends may call on Wednesday from 6 to 8 p.m. at Gordon B. Garrett Funeral Home, 303 N. Washington St., Titusville, and attend the funeral service on Thursday at 11 a.m. at the Apostolic Lighthouse Church, 22801 Highway 77, Meadville.

Interment will be in Troy Center Cemetery.

The family asks that memorials may be made to the Apostolic Lighthouse Church, 22801 Highway 77, Meadville, Pa. 16335.
