CAMBRIDGE SPRINGS — Russell Wetsell, 93, of Cambridge Springs, died Friday, Oct. 30, 2009, at his home.

He was born in Washington Township, a son of the late Andrew and Alice Bierwerth Wetsell.

Russell worked as a greens keeper at Riverside Golf Course for 30 years, and was also a driver for Trask Department Store. He loved hunting and working on his trucks and tractors.

He was preceded in death by his beloved life-long companion, Lois Terrill, in 2001; his brother, John Wetsell; and sister, Dorothy Wetsell.

Survivors include his stepdaughter, Erma Watt of Conneaut Lake; two grandchildren, Jay Watt of Meadville and LouAnn Miller of Sandy Lake; two sisters, Charlotte Webster of Torrance, Calif., and Bernice Panko of Edinboro; also many nephews and two nieces.

Friends may call at Glunt Funeral Home, 210 Erie St., Edinboro, on Monday from 6 to 8 p.m.

Burial will be in Edinboro Cemetery.
