WEST COLUMBIA, S.C. — AnnaBelle Marie DeMaison Price of West Columbia, S.C., widow of Burnie Norbert Price, died Tuesday, Nov. 3, 2009.
She was born July 11, 1923, in Lyona, a daughter of the late Walter and Blanche Echnoz DeMaison.
She was a former emergency medical technician, professional cake decorator, talented seamstress, china painter and crocheter, a member of Our Lady of the Hills Catholic Church and Catholic Daughters of America, and a former member of St. Hippolyte Church in Frenchtown. She was very active in East Mead Auxiliary, Meadville, and the Altar Rosary Society. She loved life and her family and will be treasured in our hearts forever.
Surviving are her children, Patricia Ann Price Cavanaugh of Columbia, S.C., Nancy Louise Price Johnson Ortiz and her husband, Edward, of Palm Springs, Calif., Douglas Bernard Price and his wife, Julie, of Meadville, and Jeffrey James Price of Palm Springs; a sister, Marjorie DeMaison Brinker and her husband, John; grandchildren, Brian Michael and LaDonna Cavanaugh of Fayetteville, Ga., Patricia Kathleen Cavanaugh of Columbia, Anita Marie Price of Guys Mills, Brenda Jacqueline Price of Venice, Calif., and Mackinzie and Spencer Price of Meadville; and great-grandchildren, Peyton Michael and Tanner Alexander Cavanaugh of Fayetteville, and Joshua Walter Price of Guys Mills.
She was predeceased by sisters, Gladys DeMaison Smith Prenatt and Adeline DeMaison.
A memorial service will be held at noon Saturday at Our Lady of the Hills Catholic Church, 120 Marydale Lane, Columbia.
Visitation is from 4 to 6 p.m. Saturday in the social room of Lakeside Apartments, 401 Harbison Blvd., Columbia.
