EDINBORO — Isabelle Marie Whitney, 94, died Thursday, Feb. 28, 2013, at Edinboro Manor, where she resided since 2003.

Born in LeBoeuf Township, Mill Village, on July 13, 1918, where she lived most of her life, Isabelle was a daughter of the late Glen Whitney and Marie Gable Whitney.

Surviving Isabelle are two sisters, Mae Brown of Union City and Helen Wedzik of Lake City; a brother, John Whitney of Fort Townsend, Wash; and several nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents, Isabelle was preceded in death by two brothers, Raymond Whitney and Charles Whitney; and an infant sister, Elsie Whitney.

Private calling hours will be observed by the family and no funeral services are being planned.

Interment will be in Mill Village Cemetery.

The family would like to thank the nurses at Edinboro Manor and at Hospice for the fine care they provided Isabelle.
