The City of Meadville may use taxpayer funds to renovate Diamond Park’s historic Shippen Fountain with the intention of repaying the money later with donations. Your reaction:

That’s fine. It’s a worthy project and I am confident enough donations will be raised.
No way! The city has plenty of other pressing needs that have gone unaddressed. The fountain should be renovated only after enough donations have been collected.
