4/8/07 — BEMUS POINT, N.Y. — Ruth E. Hanson, 69, of 30 High Acres, Bemus Point, N.Y., formerly of Busti, N.Y., died Friday, April 6, 2007, in Olean General Hospital, Olean, NY.
A Jamestown area resident since 1975, she was born Dec. 9, 1937, in Meadville, the daughter of the late Rodney E. and Jenny Webb Hollabaugh. She married Donald A. Hanson April 9, 1976.
She was the manager of Colonial Storage in Knoxville, Tenn.
Survivors, in addition to her husband, are three sons, Rick Consla of Warren, Tom Consla and his wife, Michelle, of Gerry, N.Y., and Gary Consla and his wife, Brenda, of Bemus Point; a daughter Lois Carrington of Yankee Bush; 10 grandchildren Heather Consla, Kelly Consla, Ron and Mike Carrington, Dan and Julia Lyon, Faith Consla, Melissa Morris, Amanda Polaro, Katie Caldwell; a great-granddaughter, Gabriella Morris; two stepsons, Daniel Hanson of Russell and Terry Dahlin of Frewsburg, N.Y.; two stepgrandchildren, Tyler and Allie Laird; one stepgreat-grandchild; three sisters Dolly Burch of Titusville, Joyce Burch of Tucson, Ariz. and Dorothy O’Donnell of Atkins, Alaska; two brothers, Lyle and Kenneth Hollabaugh of Atkins, Alaska; and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by two brothers, Roy and Bill Hollabaugh; and a sister Mary Brucker.
Calling hours will be Wednesday from 9 to 11 a.m. at the Lind Funeral Home, 805 W. Third St., Jamestown, N.Y.,
A memorial service will be Wednesday at 11 a.m. at the funeral home with the Rev. Dr. G.A. Hankins, pastor of Warren First Church of the Nazarene, officiating.
The family suggests that memorials be made to Gerry Free Methodist Church, 4500 Church St., Gerry, N.Y., 14740, or Warren First Church of Nazarene, 907 Pennsylvania Ave., Warren, Pa., 16365.
