Survivors include a son, Larry Eugene Emerson and his wife, Cynthia, of Titusville, and a daughter, Ronna Lynn Kraemer and her husband, Rolf, of Edinboro; three grandchildren, Jennifer Carson and her husband, Tim, of Front Royal, Va., Kristin Bradley of Erie, and Christopher Peters and his wife, Kelli, of Saegertown; five great grandchildren, Bradley and Jacob Carson and Brooke, Andrew and Jody Bradley; several step-grandchildren and several step-great- grandchildren; a brother, William Smith and his wife, Nancy, of St. Mary’s; a sister-in-law, Marcelyn Jacobson of Titusville; and several nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by two sisters, Jean Swart of Wheeling, W.Va. and Donna Freshour of Dayton, Ohio.
Pat was always a wonderful and loving wife, mother, grandmother, sister, aunt and especially a great and loving friend to so many. Her compassionate and giving heart enabled her to fulfill many capacities along life’s journey. Pat was a “special angel” to many.
For many years Pat gave of her time and “great cooking talent” to the Pleasantville Volunteer Fire Department as president of the Ladies Auxiliary. In later years she joined the Red Cross volunteers at the Titusville Area Hospital and worked as a Gray Lady where she eventually received honor and recognition for this service. Pat will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved her so very much.
Friends may call at the Gordon B. Garrett Funeral Home, 303 North Washington St., Titusville on Tuesday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m., and attend the funeral service there on Wednesday at 11 a.m. with Blaire P. Smith, chaplain of Asera Care Hospice in Erie, officiating.
Interment will be in Woodlawn Cemetery in Titusville.
