BEND, Ore. — Robert Lee (Bob) Richter, formerly of Cochranton, passed away Thursday, May 21, 2009, in Bend Ore.
He was born Dec. 5, 1937, in Canonsburg.
He attended Cochranton High School.
He and his father and brother used to build houses.
He enjoyed hunting and fishing.
He is survived by his sons, Robert (Mike) and Edward of Arizona, and Harry of Rigby, Idaho; and a stepson, Robert Dowell of Union, Ore.; as well as seven grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Harry A. Richter and Margaret Richter Scott, and his older brother, George Richter, all of Cochranton.
After cremation, his ashes will be scattered in the Deschutes River in Oregon.
Arrangements were handled by Bel Air Colonial Funeral Home, Madras, Ore.
