ERIE — Elaine K. Burkhardt, 64, of Erie, died Thursday, June 18, 2009, at Hamot Medical Center.
For many years, she was the manager of the Meadville K-Mart, and recently retired from the Pennsylvania State Unemployment Office in Erie.
She is survived by her sister, Dorene (DeDe) Wodarski, and her brother, Dennis A. Burkhardt and his wife, Nina Cipriani Burkhardt, all of Erie; along with many nieces and nephews.
Friends may attend a service Saturday at 11 a.m. in the Chapel at Gate of Heaven Cemetery, 5711 W. Lake Road, Erie.
Arrangements are under the direction of Brugger Home for Funerals, 1595 West 38th St. at Greengarden Boulevard, Erie.
