POLK — Leslie Ann Bidwell, 55, of Polk, passed away Wednesday, Oct. 10, 2012, at UPMC Northwest in Seneca.

She was born July 4, 1957, in Meadville, a daughter of the late Gerald E. Bidwell and Jean Carpenter Bidwell Racop.

Leslie resided the last 41 years of her life at Polk Center, where she made many long-lasting and loving friendships.

She is survived by her mother and stepfather, Jean Racop and Howard Racop, who was a father to Leslie in every sense of the word; a brother, Edward Bidwell and his wife, Rita, of Mill Village; a stepbrother, Jeremy Racop and his wife, Frankie, of Cambridge Springs; and many nieces and nephews.

In addition to her father, Leslie was preceded in death by grandparents Lloyd and Hazel Carpenter and Lyle and Hazel Bidwell, all of Townville.

Calling Hours will be private by invitation.

A graveside service will be held Sunday at Kingsley Cemetery, Townville, at 3 p.m., with Pastor Betty Hollabaugh of Miller Station United Methodist Church officiating.

Memorial contributions may be made in Leslie’s memory to a organization of the donor’s choice.
