CENTERVILLE — David L. Hamilton, 52, of Centerville, died Wednesday, March 20, 2013, at Meadville Medical Center.

Born May 6, 1960, in Union City, he was a son of Virginia Gilson Hamilton and the late Burnell Hamilton.

David was a member of St. Teresa Church, Our Lady of Fatima Chapel. He was employed as a grinder and inspector for Actco Tool of Meadville and most recently at Acutec as an inspector.

David was a 1978 graduate of Maplewood High School and enjoyed trap shooting.

In addition to his mother, survivors include a brother, Mark Hamilton of Centerville; aunt and uncles, Mary Lou and Don McMillen of Saegertown, Robert and Lena Gilson of Centerville, and Phyllis and Arthur Steves of Waterford; and an aunt, Barbara Moe of Erie.

Besides his dad, he was preceded in death by his grandparents, Leo and Mildred Gilson, Marquerite Richardson, Arthur Hamilton and stepgrandfather, Clifford Richardson.

Family and friends will be received Sunday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. at Morgan-Pandolph Funeral Home & Cremation Services, 75 N. Main St., Union City.

A funeral Mass will be celebrated Monday at 11 a.m. at Our Lady of Fatima Chapel, with Father F. Thomas Suppa as celebrant.

Interment will be in Rootville Cemetery.
