CONNEAUT LAKE — Cheryl Ann Rudy, 52, of Conneaut Lake, died Sunday, Feb. 17, 2013, at Meadville Medical Center.

She was born April 1, 1960, in Meadville, a daughter of Merle L. and Gail Wishart Running. She married Lynn Eugene Rudy on Oct. 22, 1988.

Cheryl was a graduate of the former Linesville-Conneaut-Summit High School and was a member of the school’s business club. Following high school, she dreamed of traveling to the British Isles. As a child, she was a member of the Brownie Scouts, the Girl Scouts and enjoyed traveling to Washington D.C. with the Girl Scouts.

Cheryl was of the Protestant faith. She enjoyed traveling, listening to music, playing various games, spending time with family and friends, and summertime cookouts. She was a very loving and devoted daughter, mother, sister, wife, grandmother and friend.

Survivors, in addition to her husband, include a son, Steven L. Chatley of Harmonsburg; two daughters, Danielle N. and Jessica M. Rudy, both of Conneaut Lake; her mother, Gail Running of Harmonsburg; a brother, David W. Running of Meadville; three grandchildren, Gerald, Dilyn and Sereena; two stepchildren, Nathan Rudy of Satsuma, Fla., and Jennifer Rudy of Cambridge Springs; three uncles, Louis Running and his wife, Dorothy, of Fountain, Fla., Gerald Running and his wife, Lynn, of Traverse City, Mich., and Richard Wishart and his wife, Doris, of Saegertown; and an aunt, Jeannie Morrell of Conneaut Lake.

She was preceded in death by her father; and a son, Michael Eugene Running.

Calling hours will be Friday from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. at First Assembly of God, 719 Washington St., Meadville, where the funeral service will follow at 1 p.m., with the Rev. Philip Torre, pastor, officiating.

Interment will be in Kiffer Hill Cemetery, Hickory Township, Forest County.

Arrangements are under the direction of Waid-Coleman Funeral Home, 12422 Conneaut Lake Road, Conneaut Lake.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Waid-Coleman Funeral Home, 12422 Conneaut Lake Road, Conneaut Lake, Pa. 16316.
