CAMBRIDGE SPRINGS — CAMBRIDGE SPRINGS — Ryan James Stafford, 19, of 19981 Skeltontown Road, Cambridge Springs, died Saturday morning, Aug. 28, 2010, as a result of a vehicle accident. The truck in which he was driving left Avonia Road, Fairview Township, Erie County, and he was pronounced deceased at the scene. There were no other persons involved.

He was born Nov. 17, 1990, in Meadville, the son of Mark Eugene Stafford and Tami Stafford. He lived all of his live in the Cambridge Springs area (Skeltontown).

He graduated from Cambridge Springs High School in 2009. He played football from Little Gridders directly through high school. Following graduation, he worked for the Stafford Construction Co. for two years located in the area. The past six months he was employed by B & B Custom Inc. of Edinboro doing auto body repairs. He had a real interest in truck repairs, both body and mechanical, and had received auto body certification from PPG. His hobbies included hunting and camping.

Survivors include his mother, Tami Janoski Eggleston and her husband, Donald, of Edinboro; his father, Mark Stafford, with whom Ryan made his home in Skeltontown; his maternal grandmother, Winifred Janoski of Cambridge Springs; his paternal grandmother, Betty Bearce and her husband, Roy, of Cochranton; a brother, Jeremy Stafford and his fiancée, Sunshine Slayton, of Saegertown; a sister, Autym Keem and her husband, David, of Saegertown; two nephews, Reece and Wyatt; a niece, Kylie; several aunts and uncles; and many cousins.

He was preceded in death by his maternal grandfather, Steve Janoski; and his paternal grandfather, Gerald Stafford.

Calling hours will be Tuesday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. at Van Matre Family Funeral Home, 335 Venango Ave., Cambridge Springs.

The funeral will be Wednesday at 10 a.m. at the funeral home, with Dick Motzing, pastor of Indiana Assembly of God Church, Indiana, Pa., officiating.

Interment will be in Venango Cemetery.
