MEADVILLE —
Beryl B. Dearborn Smith Williams, 92, of Leslie Road, Meadville, passed away unexpectedly at home Friday, Nov. 2, 2012.
She was born in Meadville on May 26, 1920, a daughter of Karl B. Dearborn and Isabelle Van Slyke Dearborn. She married Arthur E. Smith on Oct. 30, 1944; he passed away Nov. 24, 1986. She subsequently married Arthur C. Williams on Dec. 21, 1991; he preceded her in death Aug. 10, 2007.
She was a graduate of Meadville Area High School and worked for Crawford Central School District for 20 years.
Beryl was a 60-year member of Pine Grove United Methodist Church.
She was a member at the YWCA; past treasurer of Kiser Hill Cemetery for 20 years; member of the United Methodist Women; and taught Sunday school at Pine Grove United Methodist Church.
She is survived by two sons, Charles A. Smith and his wife, Catherine, of Meadville, and Paul M. Smith and his wife, Anna, of Meadville; a stepson, Arthur Williams of Greenville; a stepdaughter, Sondra Wiggins and her husband, John, of Creekside; five grandchildren, Jacque Geer and her husband, Jeramee, Garrett Smith, Michelle Billiter and her husband, Matt, Michael Smith and his wife, Marissa, and David Smith; two great-grandchildren, Jenna and Jacob Geer; five stepgrandchildren; and 15 stepgreat-grandchildren.
In addition to her husbands, she was preceded in death by her parents; a twin brother, Earl L. Dearborn; and a brother, Ross F. Dearborn.
Calling hours are Monday from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. at Roofner-Collins-Warren Funeral Home and Cremation Services Inc., 544 Chestnut St., Meadville.
The funeral and committal service will be Tuesday at 11 a.m. at the funeral home, with the Rev. Alice M. McClymonds, pastor of Pine Grove United Methodist Church, officiating.
Burial with take place in Kiser Hill Cemetery, East Mead Township.
