William Leroy Fleek


SPRINGBORO — William Leroy Fleek, 67, of 9619 Shadeland Road, Springboro, passed away Thursday, March 11, 2010, at Millcreek Community Hospital.

He was born in Meadville on Feb. 1, 1943, a son of the late Clarence Earl Fleek and Wanda Nicolls Fleek Stewart. He married Joyce Ann Cochran on June 27, 1980.

He was an Army veteran. He retired from Pustalek Masonary of Erie. He enjoyed listening to music, and was an avid football fan, especially of the Browns and Steelers.

Survivors include his wife, Joyce, of Springboro; his children, Bonnie Williams and her husband, Kevin, of Canadohta Lake, Steven Fleek of Las Vegas, Patrica Ziegler of Erie, Marjorie Jones and her friend, Robert, of Lubbock, Texas, Paul Wesley Jones of Transfer, Cheryl Schofield and her husband, John, of Grovetown, Ga., and Carl Jones and his wife, Lynda, of Power Springs, Ga.; his mother, Wanda Stewart of Saegertown; brothers, Robert Fleek of Lawrenceville, Ga., and Richard Fleek of Florida; a sister, Carol Hauptman of Titusville; and many grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his father and a daughter, Ila.

Friends may call today from 6 to 8 p.m. at White-Cool Funeral Home, 1405 Main St., Conneautville.

Services will be held at the funeral home on Monday at 11 a.m.

Interment will be in Spring Cemetery.
