MEADVILLE —
Barbara Heim, 66, of Meadville, passed away at her residence Friday, July 13, 2012.
Born in Meadville, Jan. 16, 1946, a daughter of Alice Harriet Maxwell and Alvin Lynch, she was married to Frederick L. Heim; he preceded her in death.
She worked at the former Dreisbach’s Restaurant.
She was a former member of Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 2006.
Survivors include a daughter, Dawn E. Heim and her fiancé, Del Rico Carter, of Meadville; a son, Duane A. Heim of Meadville, eight grandchildren, Kaitlyn Mosher, Brittany Rich, Jordan Heim, Brayden Rich, Kayleigh Carter, Kelyn Carter, Olivia Heim and Madison Heim; a sister, Mary (Kat) Kathleen Hoffman of Katy, Texas; three brothers, Carl (Rose Marie) Lynch of Las Vegas, Nev., and Meadville, Thomas Lynch of Meadville and Donald (Cindy) Lynch of Harrisburg; and a dear friend, Rose Boyle.
She was preceded in death by a sister, Susan Hoffman; and a brother-in-law, Leon Rupert Hoffman.
Calling hours will be Monday from 3 to 5 p.m. at Hatheway-Tedesco Funeral Home, 614 Baldwin St., Meadville. The memorial service will follow at 5 p.m. at the funeral home, with Pastor Dave Brumagin, chaplain at Meadville Medical Center, officiating.
