An avid golfer, James was a member of Churchill Valley Country Club, Pittsburgh, and The Country Club at Meadville where he regularly golfed with his father and his brothers, Richard and William. James continued to enjoy his golf game well into his 80s. James was always a very handy man who enjoyed tinkering and fixing things. He will be remembered as a people person.
