In addition to his many church and school duties, he was an active member with AA for 27 years and an institutional representative for Troop and Pack 209 for many years, which included serving on the French Creek Council.

In addition to his loving wife, Mary Lou, of 54 years, he is survived by his children, Renee Travaglini and her husband, Joe, Rhonda Cavaliere and her husband Carl, Ron Jr. and his wife, Theresa, Ray Neubert, and Ryan Neubert and his wife, Jill; grandchildren, to whom he was always known as Papa, Matt, Tori, Emily, David, Leticia, Joshua, Jacob, Nick, Ben, Nathan and Matthew; several great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.

Ron was preceded in death by his parents; two brothers, James and Ted; and a sister, Sandy.

Family and friends are welcome to call on Wednesday from 6 to 8 p.m. and Thursday from noon to 2 and 6 to 8 p.m., with a prayer vigil service to be held at 6 p.m., at Roofner-Collins-Warren Funeral Home and Cremation Services Inc., 544 Chestnut St., Meadville.

Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Friday at 10 a.m. at Saint Agatha Roman Catholic Church, 353 Pine St., Meadville, with Father Matthew Kujawinski, pastor, as celebrant.

Burial will follow in Saint Agatha Cemetery, West Mead Township.

Per family request, in lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made in Ron’s memory to Seton School, 385 Pine St., Meadville, Pa. 16335; or American Cancer Society, 2115 W. 38th St., Erie, Pa. 16508.
