McKINNEY, Texas —
Dale Scott McQuiston, 57, of McKinney, Texas, passed away peacefully with his loving family at his side in Dallas, Texas, on Monday, Dec. 3, 2012.
He was born July 12, 1955, in Meadville, to Harry Lee McQuiston and Gwendolyn N. Carrier McQuiston. On Nov. 17, 1995, he married Lou Ann German in Archbold, Ohio.
Dale graduated from Linesville High School in 1973. He was a plant manager for Air Liquide America Corporation for more than 36 years, where he worked in various parts of the country. Dale was an avid hunter and fisherman. He was a member of Haskins Community Church.
He is survived by his wife of 17 years, Lou Ann McQuiston of McKinney; son, Daniel McQuiston (Keysha) of West Jordan, Utah; daughters, Alyssa Edwards (David) of Toledo, Ohio, Molly McQuiston of McKinney, Texas, Andrea Meehan (Jeff Burton) of Guys Mills, Stacey Parsons (Chris Tabor) of San Antonio, Texas, and Jessica Saif (Parwaiz) of McKinney; grandchildren, Tanner, Cameron, Halley, Marcus, Gage, Lilly, Olivia and Bryson; brother, Donald McQuiston and wife, BJ, of Meadville; sisters, Marian Hewitt and husband, Tommy, of Laughlin, Nev., Judy Knepple of Laughlin, Nev.; stepfather, Carl Myers of Mohave Valley, Ariz.; numerous nieces, nephews and other loving relatives.
He was preceded in death by his father, Harry McQuiston; mother, Gwendolyn Myers; granddaughter, Kayla; and nephews, Mark McQuiston and Bret Smith.
A memorial service will be scheduled for the summer 2013 in Pennsylvania.
Memorials may be made to the American Diabetes Association. The family would appreciate those who wish, to consider organ donation.
