MEADVILLE —
Ann M. Domingo, 92, of 31 N. Park Ave., Meadville, formerly of 218 Chestnut St., Apt. 306, Meadville, passed away Sunday, Dec. 9, 2012, at Wesbury United Methodist Retirement Community.
She was born in McKeesport in 1920. In 1941 she married Charles A. Domingo; he preceded her in death on Oct. 14, 1990.
Ann lived in Elizabeth Township and worked for the Elizabeth Township School District in the cafeteria for many years. She loved gardening and kept her yard filled with flowers in summer. She attended the Senior Center in Meadville up until the past two months, where she loved playing cards and bingo. She also volunteered there when possible. She traveled extensively in her lifetime. She took joy and pride in her children and grandchildren and she attended Mass almost daily much of her life and was a woman of great faith. She was blessed with a long and active life filled with love and many friends.
She is survived by a son, James (Patsy Ann) Domingo of Dubois; daughter, Barb (James) Turnbull of Brunswick, Md.; two sisters; four grandchildren; a great-grandchild; and several nieces and nephews.
In addition to her husband, Charles, Ann was preceded in death by a sister; and eight brothers.
Family and friends are invited to call from 3 to 7 p.m. on Wednesday and on Thursday from 2 to 3 p.m. at Stephen P. Mizner Funeral Home & Cremation Services Inc., 404 Chestnut St., Meadville.
Funeral Services will be held Thursday at 3 p.m., with Father Johnathan Schmolt, pastor of St. Brigid Roman Catholic Church, officiating.
Interment will take place at Our Lady Queen of the Americas Cemetery, Conneaut Lake.
