LORTON, Va. —
Diana Henry, 34, passed away unexpectedly on Sunday, Dec. 16, 2012, at her home in Lorton, Va.
She was born at Fort Belvoir, Va., on Sept. 15, 1978, to Ralph Henry and his lovely wife, Tal (Sandy) Henry. Diana attended Hayfield Secondary School in Alexandria, Va., and later Meadville Area Senior High School. She is survived by her parents from Lorton; her brother Danny Henry from Springfield, Va.; her grandparents, Darrell and Lois Daubenspeck from Boyers; an uncle and aunt, George and Brenda Henry from Jamestown; a cousin, Monica Henry from Ashland, Ohio; and many friends in both Virginia and Pennsylvania.
Diana was an aspiring musician and a prolific wordsmith full of compassion, magic and curiosity. She was a conscious dreamer and a thinker, and always optimistic. She was fiercely individualistic and gracefully accepted others around her. Diana was a spark to this world and was blessed with the tremendous ability to electrify the spirits of those around her. Her personality was unparalleled. She made the effort to always keep in touch with all the people she loved. She judged no one. She generously offered unconditional love to her family and friends and was selflessly there for anyone who needed her help or comfort. She always knew the right thing to say and always seemed to call out of the blue, right when you needed someone. She was adored by so many. Her family and friends will carry her memory in their hearts for all time and she will never be forgotten.
Family and friends are invited to attend a memorial service to celebrate Diana’s life. It will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday at New Beginnings Church of God, 13226 Leslie Road, Meadville.
Arrangements are under the direction of Demaine Funeral Homes, Springfield/Alexandria, Va.
