GUYS MILLS —
Elizabeth Ella “Liz” Mason, 81, of Guys Mills, died Tuesday, Nov. 27, 2012, at her residence.
Born Jan. 9, 1931, in Corry, she was a daughter of Steve Footskulak and Mary Pinak Footskulak. She married Francis L. Mason Sr. on May 23, 1949; he preceded her in death Oct. 23, 1982.
She was a graduate of Randolph East Mead School and was a housewife.
She was of the Catholic faith.
She liked to fish, draw and spend time with friends and family. She enjoyed being outside and taking walks.
Survivors include a daughter, Shelley (Jesse) Corder of Meadville; two sons, James T. Mason of Guys Mills and Francis (Carrie) Mason Jr. of Guys Mills; five grandchildren, Cory Mason, Katie Mason, Sierra Mason, Nikki Corder and JC Corder; a great-grandchild, Alex Mason; four sisters, Helen (Stan) Warner of Florida, Vendi Prenatt of Indiana, Lily Koontz of Guys Mills and Clara Foster of Meadville; and many nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband; a brother, Ferd Footskulak; three sisters, Martha Footskulak, Margie Footskulak and Grace Thomas, a stepbrother Steve Footskulak; and a granddaughter, Cheyenne Mason.
Services are private and at the convenience of the family.
