MEADVILLE —
Harry K. Crabtree, 92, of Juniper Village, Meadville, formerly of Conneaut Lake, passed away Thursday, Dec. 6, 2012, at Juniper Village.
He was born Feb. 27, 1920, in West Virginia, to William Crabtree and Grace Vickers Crabtree. He married Henrietta June O’Dell on May 8, 1949; and she survives.
He was a graduate of Wellsburg High School and Wellsly College. He retired from Duquesne Light as an electrical engineer.
He was a member of Calvary Baptist Church of Linesville. He enjoyed reading.
Survivors include his wife of 63 years, Henrietta Crabtree of Meadville; a daughter, Patricia Hartigan of Pittsburgh; two sons, David Crabtree and his wife, Sandi, of Drums, and Jeffrey Crabtree and his wife, Cheryl, of Windham, Maine; five grandchildren, Michael Hartigan, Katy Hartigan, Jonathan Hartigan, Deborah Crabtree and Rebekah Crabtree.
He was preceded in death by his parents; a sister, Eileen Barnes; and a brother, William Crabtree.
Calling hours are Sunday from noon to 2 p.m. at Dickson Funeral Home & Crematory, 130 N. Second St., Conneaut Lake; with the funeral to follow at 2 p.m.
Private burial will be in Lakeview Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to AseraCare Hospice, 1600 Peninsula Drive, Suite 14, Erie, Pa. 16505.
