MERIDIAN, Miss. —
Mary Frances Higginbotham Burrage, 95, of Meridian, Miss., passed away Thursday, Feb. 21, 2013, at J.T. Champion Nursing Home.
She was a long-time resident of Meehan, Miss., and a retired seamstress.
She is survived by children, James Carl Withers and wife, Brenda, of Cochranton, June Collins Hopper and Janice Lee Allen Wood, both of Meridian; three grandchildren, Pam Coleman, Doug Withers and Scott Withers; four great-grandchildren, Michael Coleman, Kayla Withers, Cristian Withers and Jasmine Withers of Cochranton and Meadville; and a brother, Lewis Higginbotham of Philadelphia.
Frances was preceded in death by her husband, Jimmy Poncit Burrage Sr.; son, Jimmy Poncit Burrage Jr.; four brothers and four sisters.
Visitation is today from 5 to 8 p.m. at Stephens Funeral Home, Meridian.
Funeral services will be Sunday at 2 p.m. in the chapel of Stephens Funeral Home, with the Rev. John Sweeney officiating.
Burial will follow in Goodwater Cemetery.
