While living in New Jersey, she was very active in raising money for Catholic schools. She enjoyed gardening, country music and had a great love for her cats.

Florence is survived by three sons, Charles Provost and his fiancée, Ruth, of Meadville, Arthur F. Provost Jr. and his wife, Roseann, of Meadville, and Clifford Provost and his companion, Robert, of New York, N.Y.; two daughters, Kathie Rendulic and her husband, Richard, of Conneaut Lake, and Ann Latsko and her husband, Mark, of Meadville; 16 grandchildren; 20 great-grandchildren; a sister, Betty Kwietnieski of Trenton; a brother, Carl Widmann of Trenton; and several nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents and her husband, Arthur, of 53 years, Florence was preceded in death by a brother, William Widmann; a sister, Viola W. Stam; and a daughter-in-law, Sandy Provost.

Family and friends are invited to call today from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. at Stephen P. Mizner Funeral Home & Cremation Services Inc., 404 Chestnut St., Meadville, where a scripture service will be conducted at 3:45.

Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at St. Agatha Roman Catholic Church, Meadville, at 2 p.m. on Saturday, with Father Raymond Gramata, pastor, as celebrant.
